The Legacy now offers two engine options that will meet your needs. The first is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder SUBARU BOXER motor that generates a solid 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. Combined with its Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with paddle shifters and eight-speed manual mode, the Legacy has better acceleration and efficiency.
A turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine is the second option and it propels the Legacy with 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque – everything you need for premium Subaru performance. This engine also pairs with the efficient Lineartronic CVT.
