4 Drive Assist Features Collaborate for Optimal Safety
Adaptive Cruise Control
Adaptive Cruise Control allows you to tailor your preference with four preset following distances. This feature will abide by the preset distance, easing on the brakes when necessary to maintain a comfortable length between your vehicle and the vehicle directly ahead. With the ability to maintain a set speed, this feature can also bring your vehicle to a full stop and adjust its speed to adhere to the flow of traffic according to your chosen speed and following distance settings.
Pre-Collision Braking
Pre-Collision Braking is the assist to your Adaptive Cruise Control. Safeguarding you from the unpredictable this feature is hyper-responsive and astute at sensing imminent front-end collisions. If the driver's attention is elsewhere or the threat has not been registered, Pre-collision Braking will respond by alerting the driver and engaging the brakes to prevent or reduce forces of impact on your vehicle.
Pre-Collision Throttle Management
Pre-Collision Throttle Management is an additional crash prevention system designed to reign in power to protect against unintentional or distracted acceleration. The Pre-collision radar system detects any hazards or objects that may be in your way and reacts with a timely response to cut power from the acceleration to keep you and your vehicle safe.
Lane Departure and Sway Warning
Lane Departure and Sway Warning emit an audible chime alert to warn drivers in the event that they are drifting from the centre of their lane or too close to a parallel lane. This feature is a useful aid for natural distractions that occur while driving. Select current, and future EyeSight® equipped models will also include a Lane Keep Assist feature to give a physical nudge back in the right direction.
Models equipped with EyeSight include the 2019 Impreza, 2019 WRX, 2019 Legacy, 2019 Crosstrek, 2019 Forester, 2019 Outback, 2019 Ascent
