The 2019 Subaru Impreza: Sporty, Quick, and Fun
July 08 2019, Docksteader Subaru
The Impreza is a bar-raiser for compact vehicles with its standard Subaru symmetrical all-wheel-drive system, SUBARU BOXER engine, and strong Subaru Global Platform. With six trims available in four- and five-door models, it’s easy to find the right vehicle for you.
The refined exterior for 2019 is more elegant than in prior years, and all four- and five-door models have the sporty DNA of their Rally Sport cousins. All trims are full of attractive exterior features, including power-adjustable heated door mirrors, auto-off headlights with an ignition switch, a load-carrying roof rack with integrated crossbar brackets, all-season tires, LED taillights, and much more.
Different trims add new exterior features. The Touring trims include a windshield wiper de-icer and fully automatic headlights, while the Sport trims upgrade to daytime running lights and a power tilting sunroof. The Sport Tech models introduce door mirrors with integrated LED turn signals and special moulding and grille accents.
The 2019 Subaru Impreza Has Excellent Power and Efficiency for Its Class
All Impreza models have substantial power for a compact vehicle with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine that produces 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. However, its fuel efficiency is just as impressive. Sport with Eyesight trims and higher with the standard automatic CVT transmission (optional on all others) consume just 8.3/6.4 l/100 km (city/highway). Sport level models and below that have the standard five-speed manual transmission that consumes up to 10.1/7.7 l/100 km.
Subaru’s well-known symmetrical all-wheel-drive system is standard across all trims, opening up new places for you to explore throughout the year.

You’ll get comfortable with the six-way adjustable bucket driver’s seat with nearly 1,100 mm of legroom and 1,000 mm of headroom. For maximum utility, all five-door trims have up to 1,566 litres of cargo volume with the seats folded down.
